Only slightly related due to the “horrible one-off specials on Fox” connection, but when I was a kid, I watched the “Magician’s Secrets: Revealed!” special on Fox because I loved, and still love, magic. Then I fell asleep during the commercial break between the last trick and the reveal of the magician. Bummed me out for a couple days. Then I finally found the special years later (maybe I downloaded it?) and saw the reveal and was like “I don’t know who this guy is.” What, was I expected it to be, like, Will Smith or something? That woulda been cool though.
