They probably thought they could jump the gap after seeing that movie where they had to SPEED around the city keeping their SPEED above 50 miles an hour and if their SPEED dropped below it would explode.
There’s a 4am in the morning now? I only know about 4am at night.
I haven’t yet been able to set this up, but I bet the most satisfying game of ping pong would happen between a drunk me, who doesn’t even care about ping pong when sober, and a sober guy who’s really into it and trying to play me seriously.
I often find myself sitting here for a few minutes to find something to say other than “Homer’s great.” But I’m in the middle of a Friday Night Lights rewatchathon, so I’m just gonna allow myself a “Homer’s great” right here.
If I don’t move to a small town in my retirement years and spend my time in a rocking chair on the front porch of the general store saying things like “Storm’s coming” to a fellow old guy who responds “MmmHmm” then I will consider my life a failure.

While we’re at it, why couldn’t the new Three Stooges movie have issued a one-sheet poster, one of those teaser ones from way before the movie comes out, that was just silhouettes of the three with the simple tagline “Moe is their leader”? I still probably wouldn’t have seen it, but I would have refrained from talking shit about it.
